Estrella Beer cinema advert puts The Expendables to shame

I was forced kicking and screaming to go and watch The Expendables last night by the missus (instead of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World – which is what I wanted to see) and the best thing about the whole sorry experience was the following ad from Estrella Damm Beer which was much better than anything Stallone could pen and direct:

Yes, it’s long, but isn’t it fab? Kinda got an Y Tu Mamá También vibe about it (except with two women and one bloke) and a brilliant soundtrack by Billie the Vision & the Dancers called SummerCat (buy on iTunes).

The best bit is that the brand reveal is left until the closing few seconds of this three and a half minute masterpiece.

Having had to endure this hokum in the cinema, I noticed I was not the only one that wanted to stab everyone in the advert, ending with the writers.

Completely agree. I was sat astonished in the Cinema with my mate Phil as we pined to be that man. Great brand ad, makes you feel fuzzy and warm and longing for a holiday. Loved it.

The I had to sit through 2.5 hours of questionable acting provided by Angelina Jolie.

I saw this advert when I went to watchInception. I have spent the last hourlooking for it…finally found it.
I have to say it is brilliant, origianl and beautifully put together. I had no idea what it was advertising…just great. Downloading the single right now.
I am in love with the guy, and the tagline at the end was perfect.*SIGH*
I had just come back fro Portugal on a surfing holiday and it was just as perfect as this….holiday romance and all.
