Five Ways to Make Productive Use of Foursquare (and Not Be Annoying)
It's fashionable to bash on Foursquare, the location-based, social, game-like service that clutters social networks and seems like pure self-indulgence. It's a lot more useful than most give it credit for, if you dig in and make smart use of it.

Hidden Pizza: A slice of marketing genius from Yellow Pages

I love this really creative marketing stunt from Yellow Pages in Australia.
Melbourne-based pizza restaurant Hidden Pizza opened a few weeks ago, offering free pizza to anyone that could find the restaurant.  With no address or phone number listed on the website, hungry customers were encouraged to look up the venue as you would any other business through YellowPages.com.au (orders could only be made over the phone). Congratulations, You’ve Found The Hidden Pizza Restaurant.
Call us to discover our location and order your free pizza.

Smoking Skills is a different approach to raise awareness of the dangers of smoking amongst urban teens. The video is directed by Michael Krivicka from New York City and features legendary beatbox artist Kenny Muhammad.
David Meerman Scott posted the video on his blog earlier on today and I hope it inspires smokers to kick the habit. As someone who used to have a twenty-a-day habit, stopping is the BEST thing you can ever do.
