TrendStream, the company behind the awesome Global Web Index, has published an impressive infograph that shows the uptake of different social platforms in major markets around the globe. The research is based on interviews with 32,000 Internet users in 16 countries.

The website says that an interactive version is coming soon that will allow you to create an audience segment and understand their web involvement by country. The following prezzo from the Future Web Global Web Index shows that when comparing web users in the UK to an emerging tech market like Brazil, UK users are more focused on retail and spend more time using mobile web but actually spend less time online than their counterparts in Brazil (219 minutes per day), China (232 minutes per day) and Russia (217 minutes per day), clocking up an average of just 178 minutes per day.
